This local leather also has excellent thermal insulation qualities. The inside temperature of the shoe measured 31 degree Celsius (which is almost the normal body temperature) after being heated on a sand bath at 60 degree Celsius for 36 hours. However all the designs can be easily translated onto chrome-tanned leather or any other material like textiles. Even the bonding of upper with sole is of cotton thread, which also is eco-friendly and enmeshes with the leather fibers with great strength.
